Bangers & Mash

Bangers & Mash (a typical peasant food of the British Isles) are a pub duo consisting of Max Leo (guitar and vocals) and Benedict Kutzer (mandola, bodhrán and vocals).

Both can look back on many years of stage experience and lead the evening confidently: Driving pub songs from Ireland and Scotland as well as soulful ballads - Bangers & Mash transform the hall into an Irish pub in no time and put the audience in exactly the festive, feel-good atmosphere that this makes culture so unique.

Chakulou

With accordion, double bass, violin, percussion and clarinet, the street musicians from Chakulou from Regensburg lift the spirits.

What was not self-composed is interpreted in a “Chakulouian” way. This is characterized by lively gypsy folklore, but jazz and reggae influences also come through.

The result is a colorful mix of good mood that goes straight from the ear to the heart - and for the brave ones, to the dancing legs!

Cullin

The band Cuillin - named after the rocky mountain landscapes on the Scottish island of Skye - dares to take a leap into the past in their stage program.

Melodies that were heard centuries ago in the Highlands of Scotland are reinterpreted by the musicians of Cuillin and woven into exciting, fresh arrangements.

They always remain true to the character of the music: mystical, romantic and melancholic sounds let you dream of times past, sometimes wild and untamed, sometimes calm and wistful.

Yankee Meier & friends - Music is a healer

“The Regensburg guitarist Hans Yankee Meier presents, among other things, his new CD “Music is a Healer”.

“Relaxed music for the soul,” writes the MZ, hitting the core of the music on this recording. 13 of his own tracks that Yankee Meier composed during the lockdown in winter 20/21. These original compositions full of technical finesse once again show the entire Bandwidth and virtuosity of the musician.

Highly complex guitar riffs are playfully and easily put together to create a relaxed “flow” of melodies – music for the soul, that is. His companions Wolfgang Berger (double bass) and Benedict Kutzer (percussion) underline this flow rhythmically.

Stylistically, the music ranges from gentle folk to blues, Irish folk and Americana to bossa nova and samba.
